Greek Shelter

Materials
Usually in ancient Greece homes were made of mud bricks, heavy tiles, and wood. The mud bricks were not dependable, usually the bricks would crumble and break after time.
Fancy Buildings
Greece there were many different buildings and some were very fancy. The temples and other public buildings were very decorated. There were many statues and scroll work on the walls.
Homes
Greek homes usually had many rooms. There were rooms for men and women, and for slaves. The rooms for the women were very quiet, and set apart from the men's. The women's rooms were on ground level. The men's quarters was were guests were entertained. The slaves quarters was just one room with a bed and a blanket.

Greek Clothing

How Greek Clothing was Made

Clothing in Greece was home made and was made up of one large rectangular piece of fabric. They made the clothing from linen or wool. They made the fabric very colourful and gave it designs. Little sewing was done in order to make the clothing.

Armour

In ancient Greece armour was very heavy. Greek armour all together is about 155 pounds. There are many different pieces that make up the armour. Manly the armor of bronze and thick fabric.

Jewellery

Even back in anciet Greek times there was jewellery. Usually on cloths there were eather broches or pins to hold the cloths up.
